What to expect

During your ten weeks with us, expect to look deeply into industry trends and company financials. You’ll rotate through two coverage areas, working closely with a Senior Analyst to build and maintain financial models and databases. Your work will ensure the right information is provided to Sales and Trading colleagues and clients. As you progress, you’ll begin turning your analyses into reports and trade ideas, which you’ll present yourself.

How you’ll develop

Throughout the summer, our support will help you deliver your best work. In our team-driven environment, you’ll find that mentoring happens naturally and friendships are easy to form. Senior and junior mentors will guide your progress, and networking and social events will provide a fully rounded experience. Halfway through, you’ll get constructive feedback on your performance. By the time the summer’s over, you’ll walk away with a solid understanding of our business, our culture and your potential place within it. If you perform very well and meet our hiring criteria, you could have a full-time role waiting for you after graduation.

Who thrives here

This opportunity suits people who already have advanced knowledge in areas such as accounting, bond math, corporate financial valuation and financial modeling. An understanding of statistical methods and derivative valuation would prove useful too, as would computer literacy and excellent prioritization skills.
