Diversity and Pre-MBA Programs

We have a wide variety of unique programs that provide access to our Summer Internship process. They are aimed at identifying and attracting high achieving under-represented students (women, Blacks, Hispanic/Latinos, LGBT, Native Americans, students with disabilities, and veterans).

To apply, you will need strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for our industry.  Selection is  on a competitive basis and, if chosen, you will be expected to attend the program in its entirety. When necessary, we’ll cover expenses for domestic travel from your home/school and hotel accommodation.

STEMS – Success Through Early Exposure Mentoring and Sponsorship

STEMS identifies and supports the development of future campus leaders and encourages the exploration and pursuit of careers in financial services.

Generation Next Sophomore Program

We offer talented sophomores internship opportunities in the business areas above. You will gain invaluable experience as well as support from a mentor. You will also benefit from individual coaching and training focused on soft skill development. At the end of the program, you will be interviewed for our Analyst Internship Program.

To qualify, you will need to be a Class of 2017 sophomore, pursuing a baccalaureate degree with a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA (open to all majors).

We offer Boot Camp opportunities for our Corporate BankingFinanceInvestment BankingOperations, Public Finance, Research and Sales and Trading businesses.

Finance and Operations Boot Camp

This multi day event will afford you a hands-on opportunity to gain insight into our Finance and Operations team. You will learn why each is critical for business efficiency and growth, and how you can launch a successful career. After an interview on the final day, you may be offered the chance to join the Analyst Internship Program.

You will need to demonstrate your desire to explore a career in Finance or Operations, and be in the Class of 2016 pursuing a baccalaureate degree in any major with a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA.

Event – December 1-3, 2014 at our New York Headquarters

Investment Banking and Global Markets Boot Camp

You will develop the knowledge, tools and skills needed for a successful career in financial services. After an interview on the final day, you may be offered the chance to join the Analyst Internship Program.

To qualify, you will need to be in the Class of 2016 pursuing a baccalaureate degree in any major with a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA. You will also need to show us a desire to explore a career in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Public Finance, or Research.

Inspiring Excellence Scholarship

We award fellowships and scholarships to diverse highly intelligent students who are interested in a career in the financial services industry and who embody five guiding principles: academic excellence, a collaborative approach, collegiate and community leadership, high ethical standards and an entrepreneurial spirit.

If you’re in the Boot Camp Class of 2016 and pursuing a baccalaureate degree in any major with a minimum cumulative 3.4 GPA, you’re eligible for our Scholarship. For selected recipients, we’ll pay scholarship funds to your school for tuition and academic expenses of up to $10,000.

To qualify you will need to submit a personal essay and an online application by the deadline for your specific Boot Camp. Scholarship interviews take place at our New York office during the Boot Camp.



Pre-MBA 

Opportunities in Investment Banking in our New York office.

Accelerated Associate Process

This initiative identifies candidates participating in Consortium, Forte, MBA JumpStart, and Toigo interested in securing an Investment Banking internship prior to the start of their MBA program. This three-step optional process includes: informationals, phone interviews, and a final round Super Day at our New York Headquarters.

Inspiring Excellence Fellowship

We award fellowships and scholarships to diverse highly intelligent students who are interested in a career in the financial services industry and who embody five guiding principles: academic excellence, a collaborative approach, collegiate and community leadership, high ethical standards and an entrepreneurial spirit.

If you’re in the Class of 2016, and are participating in our Accelerated Associate Program for pre-MBA candidates, you are eligible for the Fellowship. For selected recipients, we’ll pay $30,000 to your school for first-year expenses tuition and academic expenses. Recipients may also be eligible for an additional $30,000 to contribute to second-year expenses. We’ll cover all taxes on these payments.

To qualify you will need to submit a personal essay and an online application by Sunday, June 29, 2014.

We’ll notify successful finalists on a rolling basis.
