What to expect
Expect a steep learning curve and lots of growth. Following seven weeks of intensive training, you’ll go straight into a sales or trading role on a specific desk. Once there, you’ll rapidly build up your knowledge of global markets, as well as your quantitative and analytical skills, through involvement in live work.
If you become a Sales analyst, you may:
- Analyze and develop solutions to clients’ needs
- Monitor markets and formulate trade ideas
- Analyze a range of fundamental and technical data
- Attend client meetings or calls with traders, salespeople and research colleagues.
How you’ll develop
This role provides a first step towards promotion to assistant vice president, and we’ll give you the tools to help get you there. From day one, you’ll build the skills and experience you need for a successful career. Our training will give you the knowledge you need when you need it, and detailed performance coaching will keep your progress on track. You will also find plenty of opportunities to expand your network and develop your leadership skills.
