What to expect
Joining one of our Trading and Structuring teams, you’ll interact closely with Sales, as well as with our Legal, Compliance and Quantitative teams. That means that, whilst you can expect a steep learning curve, you’ll also quickly build strong soft skills, a great internal network, and a solid understanding of different roles within the bank. From early on, you’ll be exposed to everything from product pricing to proprietary Index Development and managing risk of the team’s trading books. So you’ll need to be a quick, adaptable learner with an entrepreneurial spirit.
How you'll develop
This role is a first step towards promotion to Assistant Vice President, and we’ll give you the tools to help get you there. From day one, you’ll build the skills and experience you need for a successful career, both through direct training from your team and through the Continuous Learning program. Our training will give you the knowledge you need, when you need it, and detailed performance coaching will keep your progress on track. As you gain more experience, you’ll be given more and more autonomy in your work, visiting clients and contributing to vital strategic projects.
What’s more you’ll interact closely with teams across the business. Gaining a comprehensive overview of our front office roles, you’ll find the mobility to move into other areas and explore your interests as your career builds momentum.

Working with a wide range of teams you must have a good balance between technical skills and interpersonal skills. No prior experience in Business or Financial Markets is necessary prior to joining, but you’ll need a curious mind and a real interest in the financial markets.
